Christian Joy is not naïve positivity, or emotional hype. Rather, it is the deep confidence that God keeps every promise he has ever made. - Matt Chandler
@CEssegian@HuskerMBB You are a man of integrity and a great role model, Connor. Thank you for your faithfulness and courage. We miss you already but look forward to next year.
Seward's top 4 athletes competed in Gothenburg today at the State MS Track Meet. Coaches want to thank Aubree Solano, Jace Knott, Tytus Popple, and Brayton Hotovy for their dedication and hard work! This was a great ending to an awesome season!
Going to a 2nd state championship track meet this Saturday with wonderful humans, especially being coachable athletes, as well as our 21 year head coach! #sewardjays
@kevinsjuts I never in my lifetime thought that we would play Georgetown, let alone dominate them! Fun legacy game to watch. Changed my mind about the Crown.
@cubsfan18@sewardgball@SewardBlueJays Anyone that knows Coach Carr in any way at all knows he doesn't do anything average, ESPECIALLY coaching. Great job everyone!
Slow Down. Move Over! 🚨
When you see first responders, tow trucks, or road crews on the side of the road, remember to slow down and move over. It’s more than a courtesy—it’s the law and it could save lives.
What if Seward softball, football, and volleyball all qualified for state in the same year? Wouldn't that be an unforgettable legacy year?!!! Stay tuned...1 down, 2 to go!
Click the first picture and you will recognize the lady on the far right. Congratulations, Lori, on 10 full years of teaching in Seward but far more years of teaching overall.
I heard a U13 select volleyball coach yelling at his team while the parents listened in.
“You all need to take this seriously if you want to play collegiate volleyball. Stop screwing around with other sports. Focus just on volleyball year around.”
The girls were all about 5’3 being sold a lie.
If this sounds familiar, pull your kid from that team asap.
Just watch the @NFL draft. Even the greats played multiple sports.
Life is too short. Play multiple sports.
Why?
Before you know it, it’s all over. Even for those that make it to D1 or pros.
The most common comment I get from alumni that didn’t play football while in high school is “I regret not playing football for you.”
No regrets. Play multiple sports!!
It's easy to tell you why our young women are champions of one of the hardest meets of the season with 11 teams competing. It's because they are PRACTICE champions, life champions, integrity champions, respect champions, and role model champions. Come watch them!
The SMS Track Team came home from The Aurora Invite with another 1st place plaque today! Congrats to the following girls for breaking the school record in the 4x100 relay with a time of 54.48: Jolie Eber, Rydesa Else, Tayla Hass, and Ella Peterson.
I believe this is year 10 (or 11) of coaching track with a wonderful group of coaches and athletes. We care about PR's, not wins. But wins prove that there were LOTS of PR's!
