@FuckCarsReddit Am I the only one who wouldn’t want to come near a driver who spends more time looking and shouting at a (probably even handheld) camera than at the road? (And that’s no matter whether I’m walking, on a bike, or in a car.)

@jsleeio @NanoRaptor I agree, unfortunately I’ve never had the opportunity to drive any of those except for a few meters in a 2-cylinder Visa. My C5 is turning 18 in a months, so I guess it kind of qualifies as old at this point. :)
For anyone looking for an alternative to #phototwitter, I want to let you know that @Flickr is still very much alive and has a wonderful photographer based community. Easiest way to start is to find and join a group that is similar to your interests: https://t.co/NVJjQ7CsrY (1)
If you leave Twitter, I recommmend you DO NOT delete your account.
All old tweets @ mentioning you will still exist and if someone grabs that now available username then all tweets @ referencing that username now point to them.
oh my god we're living out the 80s kids movie trope of "an evil rich guy bought the community center where we hang out and is gonna destroy it"
FUCK we'd all better learn to break dance really fast
Quick Q's to ask when you see a piece of content:
1 - What's its purpose? (e.g. inform, persuade)
2 - What type of info is it? (e.g. news, opinion, ad)
3 - Is it legit, or should I open another tab & do a search?

This Japanese poster is around 100 years old. It reads: "The germs of the fearsome influenza! If you don’t wear a mask, you don’t value your life!"
Japan's success with COVID can be traced back to the 1918 pandemic, while the West ignored key lessons & paid the price years later
@elfsternberg @GyrosGeier Looks like no one at that enterprise (including the blogger complaining about this) actually read the text behind the first link in there. Microsoft isn’t phasing out IMAP anytime soon, just 90s-style basic authentication. https://t.co/PFUoFeQXAD
