Hey Mark. It's me again. Last time I quote posted you, my post got several million views and, as the popular saying goes, I "ratioed" you in terms of likes.

I'm here to remind you, yet again, that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. To be more blunt, you're simply talking out of your rear.

Karim Khan didn't get suspended and then dismissed because Israel "lobbied" for that to be the case. He was suspended and then dismissed because the ICC itself determined that there was a substantial amount of evidence which left them no choice but to come to the conclusion that it would be extremely detrimental to allow Khan to carry on in the position he was in.

As for Khan, "the man who issued the war crimes." Khan is a Muslim, and that in itself immediately reveals an ideological bias. I know that's something very sensitive for you to hear, and you probably think it's "Islamophobic", but it's not. It's simply a fact.

Furthermore, despite this ideological bias, Khan himself recently admitted that, despite the nearly three years that have passed since Israel's response to the Oct. 7 attack, the ICC simply does not have enough evidence to determine that Benjamin Netanyahu, and by extension Israel, has committed "war crimes" or, to use your favourite word, "genocide".

It's also quite telling that, when it comes to talking about the actual war crimes and attempted genocide on Oct. 7 by Hamas and thousands of Gazans, you seem to be completely and utterly quiet.

And finally, you really want to talk about how one will be remembered? The only thing you'll be remembered for, yes, more so than your movies, is being the most predictable and pathetic example of a member of the Hollywood hive mind, where your views are never truly your own, but instead shaped by collective groupthink that is completely detached from reality.

I saw the Odyssey tonight. It’s an amazing movie.

My fellow conservatives who disliked it (cough cough Matt Walsh), are missing the point entirely.

Christopher Nolan did not tell a feminist version of the story.

Actually, he took a Greek myth and gave it an almost Christian ethos.

See, the original Odyssey was obviously pagan. It was about fate and the gods toying with humans. It wasn’t really a moral story.

But, in Nolan’s story, you get to see more of the actual man behind the legend.

Instead of mere fables of heroic conquest, you see the actual trauma of war and the demons a man like Odysseus might carry after sacking Troy.

And instead of a man who callously pillages villages, cheats on his wife, and returns to slaughter his rivals and reclaim his thrown… which is the Greek idea of a hero… instead, you get the Christian-style hero…

You get a man who descends into hell to find redemption for his sins, and only then can he return home and restore his kingdom.

It is truly magnificent. Elliot Paige was a little off-putting but was hardly in the movie at all. It was beautifully shot, well acted, and it kept me interested for all 3 hours.

Don’t listen to the haters. And don’t make everything about tribal politics. This is good art. Enjoy it.

Nietzsche said a lot of contradictory stuff but one of his most consistent ideas is that archaic western culture used to value brute strength for its own sake but Judeo-Christianity inverted the relationship between strength and goodness and encouraged the strong to feel guilt and pity for the weak. He revered Homer's Odysseus much more than a contemporary Christian priest.

So it's funny that Nolan made The Odyssey kinda Christian—accentuating the main character's guilt, trauma—and then many Christian conservatives, who decided that they were going to hate the movie because it had a Black actress in the wrong role, instead have to twist themselves into the pretzel of arguing that making the Odyssey Christian is "woke" and they just really wanted to see a movie and hero that properly embodied the very same archaic and anti-Christian values that in any other context they would consider abhorrent.

I watched The Odyssey. It’s really good. It’s going to be a huge success

The issue with people trying to protest this movie, is the movie is really good.

It’s like the people trying to protest Chic-Fil-A. Their problem is the chicken is too good.

It’s a lot easier to protest a mediocre product. The protest won’t work here because the product is too good.

I just watched The Odyssey. It is masterpiece. Exceptional. Extraordinary. Unrelenting. I am in awe. One of the best movies ever made.
