BREAKING: YES! Pope Leo XIV claps back after Trump accused him of "endangering a lot of Catholics" with a brilliant response that has MAGA world screeching.

This pope always knows exactly what to say...

“Well, the pope would rather talk about the fact that it’s okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, and I don’t think that’s very good,” Trump told right-wing commentator Hugh Hewitt. “I think he’s endangering a lot of Catholics, and a lot of people, but I guess if it’s up to the pope, he thinks it’s just fine for Iran to have a nuclear weapon."

As has been explained and repeated in countless publications at this point, Iran was not pursuing nuclear weapons. Our own intelligence agencies concluded as much and Ayatollah Khamenei — who Trump assassinated — maintained a religious ban against such armaments. Ironically, now that the United States has attacked, Iran has a greater incentive than ever to pursue nukes.

What's more, Trump is the one who endangered Catholics, and indeed everyone on this planet, by starting an illegal war on behalf of Israel that could easily escalate into a new world war.

While Pope Leo didn't mention Trump by name, a tactic often used by former President Barack Obama, it was clear who he was responding to.

“I have already spoken from the first moment ‘peace be with you.’ The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If anyone wants to criticize me for proclaiming the Gospel, let them do so truthfully," Leo told reporters in Italian. “The Church has spoken out against all nuclear weapons for years, so there is no doubt about that."

Of course Pope Leo doesn't want Iran to have nuclear weapons because the Catholic Church doesn't want anyone to have them. At the same time, he won't support a bloody, genocidal war of aggression being waged against innocent women and children to prevent weapons that were never being built in the first place.

Trump's fixation on Leo stems from a frustration with his own powerlessness to stop the Vatican from criticizing this war. He's used to Evangelical Republicans who claim to believe in Jesus but in practice believe in nothing beyond raw power. Now that he's going up against a real Christian, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.

BREAKING: Elizabeth Warren DISMANTLES a CNBC anchor for suggesting that she is weakening Trump's "hand" against Iran by criticizing his illegal war: "Donald Trump weakens Donald Trump's hand!"

She cut the propaganda down to size in seconds...

"I wanted to ask you about Iran because you've been very outspoken lately against the president and the war," said the network's Sarah Eisen. "And I do wonder, Senator, if you ever worry that by being so outspoken and trashing the president over this, that it weakens our hand and weakens our negotiating position at a critical moment where we're trying to get an Iran that's more peaceful for the region and for the world and not a nuclear power?"

"Donald Trump weakens Donald Trump's hand when he starts out by starting this war without ever consulting with the American people about it!" replied Senator Warren. "And in the first days, he cannot describe why the war started, what the purpose of the war is, what we hope to accomplish."

"And then how many times a day does Donald Trump say something that is either factually inaccurate or just contradicts himself?" she continued. "Donald Trump has stood up and said he is going to obliterate an entire civilization, commit war crimes in the name of the American people. Donald Trump is trashing America's credibility and America's reputation as a world authority all around the world."

"Do you not agree with the ultimate goal here?" asked Eisen.

"Which goal? You mean the one to have the Obama agreement in place?" said Warren.

"The goal to have no Iran have advanced missiles that it can terrorize all of its neighbors, which we've seen it do, to not have a nuclear Iran, to not have it fund terrorists all over the world?" said Eisen. "I mean, we don't want to go into North Korea. It's too late."

"Of course. Of course," said Warren.

This is shameless propaganda on Eisen's part. American intelligence agencies concluded that Iran was not pursuing a nuclear weapon and Iran is only using its missiles to "terrorize" the region because the United States and Israel attacked them first. This war was never about preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, it's about destroying a regional adversary of Israel so that they continue their territorial expansion unchallenged.

The North Korean reference is insightful, but not for the reason that Eisen thinks. By launching this war against Iran after tearing up Obama's historic deal, Trump has sent a clear signal to the world that the only way to prevent an invasion is by acquiring nuclear weapons. It's why North Korea remains untouched by the U.S. military. A long-term effect of this Iran War will be making the world far less safe and far more nuclearized.

"And that is why I supported the agreement that Iran had signed that stopped its nuclear program," continued Warren. "And yet Donald Trump tore that up. And you know what Mr. Dealmaker got in return? Nothing. Zero. And now we are in a far worse position because of Donald Trump's chaos. You describe to me what's Donald Trump's exit ramp here and how it is that the United States of America is going to be better off.?"

"I think he said he wants to make a negotiation—" said Eisen.

"Can I finish my answer?" shot back Warren. "Having lost 13 Americans, having spent a billion dollars a day overseas blowing stuff up, having an act of war to blockade and driving up prices here at home."

"How are people in America better off?" asked Warren. "Donald Trump has managed with this war to make people at home less safe, to make people at home more stretched financially, and just to trash our reputation all around the world."

The platforms where anonymous accounts cashed in? Polymarket and Kalshi. Donald Trump Jr. sits on Polymarket’s advisory board and is a strategic advisor to Kalshi.

There’s even a law against this. The STOCK Act (2012) explicitly covers executive branch officials. Zero prosecutions in 14 years.

Oh, and the DOJ unit created after Watergate to prosecute exactly this kind of corruption? Trump cut it from 36 lawyers to 2 and stripped its authority to file new cases.

Trump is about to lock 157 million Americans out of their own bank accounts.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed an executive order forcing every US bank to collect proof of citizenship is "in process."

And he just doubled down: "If Treasury and the banking regulators say it's their job, it's their job."

This sounds irrelevant but here's what this really means:

Per the Congressional Research Service, only 48% of Americans hold a US passport.

That leaves over 170 million Americans without one.

REAL IDs don't count. Driver's licenses don't count. Social Security cards don't count.

Per Wall Street Journal reporting, banks will need a passport or birth certificate.

The Brennan Center found 21.3 million voting-age US citizens don't have documents proving their citizenship easily available.

These are Americans who are about to lose access to their own bank accounts.

And here's the thing:

The order applies to new AND existing customers. Banks could be forced to close accounts of people who can't produce documents.

Your 78-year-old grandmother born at home in 1948. Your naturalized dad who lost his papers 30 years ago. Your cousin mid-passport renewal.

The official story is that this stops illegal immigrants from accessing banking.

But the actual reality:

Illegal immigrants can't open US bank accounts anyway. Know Your Customer rules already require SSNs or ITINs. The existing system ALREADY blocks what this order claims to block.

So who does this actually target?

The half of Americans without a passport. Rural Americans. Elderly Americans born before centralized record-keeping. Black Americans in Southern states where birth records were historically unreliable. Low-income Americans who can't afford $225 for an expedited passport.

The American Action Forum, a center-right think tank, estimates this adds 33 to 73 million paperwork hours and $2.6 to $5.6 billion in compliance costs.

Guess who pays those costs?

You do. Through fees. Through closed accounts. Through denied loans.

Bessent's defense quote: "I have a place in the UK, they want to know who lives in every apartment."

Bessent's net worth: $600 million.

He has a "place in the UK."

He will not be affected by this.

So this isn't really about immigration.

For the first time in American history, access to the banking system would be conditioned on proving citizenship to the federal government. That creates a permanent database linking every American's finances to their citizenship status.

Once that database exists, it gets used by ICE, voting enforcement, tax enforcement, Social Security, and future administrations for purposes nobody has announced yet.

Every future government gets the keys to decide who has a bank account based on paperwork.

And Wall Street's reaction tells you everything:

Bank execs privately called it "unworkable" and "a complete nightmare." One researcher called it "a way to weaponize the banking system to achieve political ends."

They're not pushing back because they love immigrants. They just KNOW the compliance costs are catastrophic and half their customers will walk.

Tom Cotton also introduced a companion bill in March making it a federal crime for any unauthorized person to "open or maintain a US bank account." Maintain. Meaning existing accounts.

These things are literally being drafted right now.

Jared Kushner, a 'volunteer' with no official position, has $6 billion in assets from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar-the same governments he is negotiating with on Middle East peace. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have invested in drone companies that are now competing for Pentagon contracts in the war their father started.

Forbes estimated that Eric and Don Jr., they were worth about $40, $50 million each before the 2024 election. About a year later, Eric at $400 million and Donald Trump Jr. at about $300 million.
