One of the greatest traditions in college football, the "Hawkeye Wave" 💛
Iowa and Ohio State fans, players, and coaches turn to wave at patients in the UI Stead Family Children's Hospital after the first quarter 👋
Dusty May on how his ambition has evolved and how becoming a dad led him to redefine success.
"I was probably 25 and I was incredibly ambitious and and I was trying to get to the top quickly. And then once Ann and I started having children, my entire perspective changed. I simply wanted to enjoy who I worked with, enjoy who I coached, and try to be the absolute best coach I could be."
The longer I work with coaches, the more I realize that the most fulfilled ones aren't always the ones with the premier titles or the highest paid. They're the ones who have clarity about why they coach in the first place.
Ambition isn't just chasing bigger jobs or dream destinations. Real ambition is chasing a better version of yourself.
You don't have to choose between being ambitious and being fulfilled. The goal is to chase excellence while protecting the people and priorities that make the pursuit worthwhile in the first place.

If you are a believer, the Spirit of God lives in you. You belong to the Lord. Yes, the devil can tempt you. He can hassle you. But he cannot overcome you, because you are under God’s protection.
In Ephesians 6, the apostle Paul talks about the believer’s spiritual armor: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the sword of the Spirit, and so forth. But before he describes the armor, he writes, “A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power” (Ephesians 6:10 NLT). In other words, just stay calm.
Stand still and watch the Lord rescue you.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this day.
Guide my steps, calm my heart, and strengthen my faith.
Forgive my sins and help me walk in Your truth.
Protect my family and bless our home with peace and love.
When I feel weak, remind me that You are my strength.
I trust You, Lord.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

“Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
That’s God’s promise—and it means we don’t have to be afraid as we step into this new year.
We may not know what the future holds,

LeBron says his role with the Cavs his rookie year “weirded” him out:
“I’m like, this is not winning basketball. I know what winning basketball is. And people say, ‘Well, that’s high school to the pros.’ But great basketball and winning basketball — it does not matter the level… So when I got to the NBA, I was weirded out. I was like, ‘Cause you got to make all the plays? A guy just comes down and don’t pass it?’ I was like, ‘Oh, what the hell is this? This is a culture shock.’”
