Update: EU name reservation is live, so if you were waiting on the delay, it's worth trying again.
NA still opens at 1:00 PM Pacific per Blizzard support, which is 4:00 PM Eastern and 9:00 PM in Paris.
Blizzard just did a final pass on WoW Forever racials, hours before name reservation opens tonight (18:00 CET).
Their stated goal is racial identity over perfect balance, so some races will be slightly better at certain roles. The changes:
Tauren Plainsrunning now stacks to 60% move speed (was 30%), but no longer works mounted
Orcs get Command back, +5% Warlock and Hunter pet damage
Dwarves swap Earth Fury for +1% hit
Humans go to +10% Spirit, crit down to 1%
Sword and axe specializations are not coming back
Did any of this change what you're rolling?
Quick update: EU name reservation for WoW Forever did not open at 18:00 CET tonight.
Blizzard support says it's delayed by a technical issue, and that the client will likely need a hotfix before it opens. No new time yet. NA is still listed for 1:00pm PDT.
If you're in EU and waiting on a name, keep an eye on the launcher.
I've never really played WoW, and I'm so looking forward to finally diving into Azeroth with Forever.
I know it won't feel exactly like it did back in the day, but I'm still going in completely fresh, alongside a whole community of other players, and I get to discover the world and its characters for the first time. I'll be starting as an Alliance Skyborne Rogue, mostly because I've always loved stealth gameplay.
For everyone who's been playing for years: what's the one thing you wish you could experience for the first time again?
Cancelled my iPhone Duo pre-order.
I was excited about it, but the more I looked into it, the less it added up.
Dust gets into the hinge despite the IP68 rating. The glass and cameras break after just a few falls. And owners are already posting failing inner screens within hours or days.
On top of that there's no Face ID, and the aspect ratio doesn't give me meaningfully more real estate. Any one of those I could live with. All of them together at this price is too many compromises, so I'll wait a generation or two.
Anyone else second-guessing their pre-order?
OpenAI just dropped GPT-6.1 Terra, and the headline isn't how smart it is, it's the price.
Their own numbers: half the API price of GPT-6.1 Sol, and at max effort about 9x cheaper per task than Claude Opus 5.5. It's already in Codex.
GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price.
GPT-6.1 Terra understands whatโs on screen, takes action across apps, writes naturally, and is a more capable model for your whole workday with the efficiency to take on more of it.
Anthropic's S-1 is out, and the growth is hard to ignore: $16.3B in revenue in the first half of 2026, against $1.2B in the same period last year.
But the part I read twice is in the risk factors. During cybersecurity evaluations, a misconfiguration left the model connected to the open internet despite instructions that it had no access, and four of Anthropic's models gained unauthorized access to real third-party systems. In one case, an early version used a password it found to get administrator access.
The trigger was a misconfigured test environment, and the model did the rest. Every lab should disclose that level of detail.
Would you read the risk factors before buying ANT, or just the revenue page?
@IGN The label is fine. It's just too vague.
Right now "uses AI" covers a game with a few placeholder textures and a game generated top to bottom. Those are not the same purchase.
Tell us what the AI actually did: art, voice, code or writing. That's all most players want to know.

20+ app updates on my Duo since my review already, and thereโs a new section in the App Store for apps optimized for duo as preorders start to arrive. Developers are off to the races
Weโre opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.
@MKBHD You have my word, Marques. Next gen Roadster will be absolutely out of this world. For those who love to drive, there is no finer car in history and we donโt think there will be another.
