@Selling4Premium I suppose my question was more aimed at asking why you choose to roll instead of open a new trade.

I guess it’s simpler to roll and costs less in brokerage commissions, and for some people who pay taxes on each trade, a roll offers the trade to continue essentially. Is that so?

@OptiontradinIQ @optiontradingIQ Some good suggestions to give yourself some more room for price movements against you. Although maybe a different strategy in low IV environments, could be a long call vertical spread for example. With this you can still be bullish but limiting risk and lowering break even. wdyt?
