Time is money. If it takes twice as long to do something you earn half as much. This is the brutal fact at the heart of Brexit.
Let’s "Brexit" a £12.99 paperback, blow by blow, and see what difference leaving the single market has made.
There is evidence that stimulation of breast tissue in any adult human can produce milk to sustain baby humans. It can be a lot of effort if you haven't recently given birth to a baby human, but that surely makes it *more* laudable, not less
But you mainly know who's going to be an arsehole or who's going to "not compute". Like coming out, it's something you only do when safe or necessary.
Or very occasionally when you really want to stick 2 fingers up as a fuck you 😃
The 1st time I told someone about my son's official proper diagnosis, they replied "oh, I'm sorry" like he was a dog that died. I was confused. We had support for him now. Later when I mentioned my self-diagnosis to people who knew me, their response was mainly "that makes sense"
The justification for the warrior’s misidentification as biologically male stems from archaeologists’ frequent assignment of sex on the basis of a grave’s contents rather than scientific bone analysis

The UK Government has put into motion worrying restrictions on trans people’s rights.
We have a tiny window to challenge this - please email your MP and ask them to stand up for what's right, and call on the UK Gov to show trans people respect. https://t.co/DjtscPAqB7
@grumpyshrubbery I love that part - it's genuinely hilarious and so much of the interesting idea of sharing consciousness goes by the wayside for the silly thriller type plot later
@SNeurotypicals But, why would I pick them up? I didn't drop them and I don't like matches. They smell weird and they probably won't work well after being dropped on the ground. I'm missing something, aren't I
#BREAKING Rishi Sunak attacks Equality Act 2010, calls it "trojan horse" of "woke nonsense".
In a speech tomorrow, Sunak will vow to ensure "sex means biological sex", protect "mothers" and "women" from "erasure" - as well as "shield children from inappropriate material."
@itsheydaughter@AdultingADHD I can't see what benefit it would have for me. I wouldn't get hold of medication as my HA doesn't provide for adults. I have been fighting for my kids' diagnoses for years and am still fighting to make sure they can get the support they need. I don't have the space for more ATM
@MSWLoading@AdultingADHD That was 4 years ago. I can't imagine the difference it's going to make to my specific life at this point and don't have the patience for the years-long wait that's necessary where I live. I'm comfortable with my self dx for now
@AdultingADHD Both my sons now. I haven't gone down that route as I figure there's really no point, but learning about inattentive ADHD and the "OMG that's me" moment changed how I saw my whole life. And then I looked at my mum and realised it explained more than just me
I find it disturbing how few people know this. Abortion is not legal - each case is granted an exception under approved circumstances. It has never been decriminalised.
There is no legal right to abortion on request in the UK. Abortion is still dependent on the approval of two doctors and the legislation is the 1967 act, one of five grounds must be satisfied. There is a time limit of 23 weeks and 6 days in most cases.
Need some sort of meta event word for when you get distracted by #ADHD threads and forget what you were supposed to be doing. Then an extra plane of consciousness for when you come out of it desperately hungry or needing a pee
@she__who@DeeMeanz Contact the school in the first instance if comfortable doing so as they may use Pupil Premium to pay for uniform. Otherwise contact Citizens Advice Bureau and they will be able to talk you through charities in your area that may be able to help. The earlier the better for these
