@nanjipijoa Some might think this isn't fair to Ice himself. But political and legal factors determine whether a game can operate normally worldwide, and Ice's remarks involve those. At the end of the day, game developers still need to make money.
@nanjipijoa As a game developer, the most likely reason for this problem is that they didn't do enough market research. Since they decided to enter the Chinese market and also serve the main Korean market, the best way would have been "not to include Ice's songs from the start"
@nanjipijoa No one in China cares about the controversy over removing the songs. But putting Ice's songs back on the shelves could easily cause serious problems. You'll find that except for Taiwanese rhythm games, most rhythm games released in China don't have Ice's songs.
@nanjipijoa Simply put, it's political reasons. From the perspective of Chinese publishers, Ice, as a Taiwanese musician, openly supporting "Taiwan" independence is tantamount to advocating for national separatism, which could lead to operational disaster.
@nanjipijoa I'm Chinese. This game just came out in China with a huge price cut... I wonder how people overseas are reacting to this? As someone who bought it at full price, I don't think the developers are being very fair.
