This is a terrible, despicable eyesore. It is shameful and embarrassing that a man many Christian youths look up to would think and speak in this unbecoming manner. This clip doesn't only reek of gross disregard for his wife but also shows why this inordinate quest for “power” among many Pastors and young Christians must die an immediate death. Many of the Christians who speak like this have made the display of the supernatural an idol they worship with feverish devotion. They seek power not because of the love for Jesus or the kingdom but to satisfy their pride and self-aggrandizement.

This is why I would always admonish any young and single Christian lady who cares to listen to me, that the most important thing to look out for in a man is not the “tongue blasting”, “demon chasing” “power hungry” attributes.

You're entering into a life-long relationship so you shouldn't pick your spouse as if you're looking for a prayer or ministry partner.

Gifts are necessary and desirable, but if a man shows symptoms of gross lack of empathy and unkindness like the kind seen in this video, stay away from him.

Even if he claims to be carrying the mantle of Elisha, if he demeans your pain and has the tendency to ask you foolish questions like “are you the first to menstruate” or “are you the first to get pregnant”, it is a clear sign that he is not the one for you.

And lastly, I will say this from the POV of a husband and a father: Childbirth is a very serious business that many times, could threaten the life of a woman. And so, any man that scoffs at the inconveniences and sacrifices it takes to birth a child, doesn't deserve the bliss of fatherhood.📌
