I just had to remember I'm not competing for anything. If I release a project that allows me to tour and connect and help people and make awesome friends - it's worth the downtime in between.

I used to make up deadlines for no other reason than being excited to share what I've been working on - it made me feel like I was rushing things that could've been more impactful had I taken my time - and I had no reason to rush other than wanting your attention.

I've been balancing my life a lot over the last few years and not just pouring everything I have into making songs. I've been making much better music because of it. I can't wait to release my next album but I'm not even gonna announce a date until I'm in love with it.

Ironically I didn't choose this more personal name (thanks @ceschi) but the longer I sit with it the more excited I am to release new music:
