They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner.

This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat.

I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared.

"Did we…?"

"Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless."

Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined.

My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude."

Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man.

I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy.

Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived.

I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most.

Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

@TheUFL need to put together a real effort and task force into boots on the ground marketing, before they turn this downfall into a case study at colleges.

The product is excellent. Football is KING! And we all want this to be a success. It’s the only reason I keep highlighting this issue.

The first video is from 2 years ago. 80% full stands, beer snake to the rafters, even the premium club seats are full.

The second video/picture is from this most recent weekend. A handful of people in club and maybe 30% full stands. This is what having no marketer in what should be a prime market looks like.

I talk about the UFL to anyone who will listen, and the most common response is, they have NO CLUE IT EXISTS.

Because of Internet algorithms, your focus on digital marketing is failing the league. The algorithm will make it so only people interested in the UFL gets those ads, and those are not the people that need to be getting any marketing 💵 spent on them!!

Hire @OliverLuckXFL back or one of the Savannah Bananas markers and do what Mr. Luck was doing for the XFL. 🥾 on the ground! If you are going to throw 💰 at something, it needs to be into local marketing instead of a 1 week performance to bump stats for 1 week.

I see the league making a lot of the same mistakes they did in 2024 and I only highlight this to help prevent the league from making those same mistakes!

With so much interest from small and medium cities, he should look into implementing an American pro football pyramid similar to the USL in soccer.

That way smaller venues and cities would have a chance to showcase and local teams could develop organically.
