@maizie_star Still have nightmares about Mapquest giving streets/highways one obscure name like “Ernest Plaisance Junction” and all the road signs just call it “Highway 65.”
@EmilyVMurray The books are entertaining too! I ended up reading them all in the wait for season 4 figuring I’d still have fun even if I was spoiled a little. They’ve been making some changes too, after S1 being mostly faithful.
@writesloud Loved the Sarah Caudwell books when I read them last year! Hilarious and quick. Other fun ones (all series I barreled through) are The Spellman Files and the Slough House books. More impactful recent reads: Covenant of Water, Eastbound, All the Beauty in the World, North Woods
@cottoncandaddy Yes! I think the book had and continues to have such a moment that the intentional absurdity can get overlooked (possibly by both fans and haters) for the sentiment. Paper Bag Princess is my very favorite Munsch.

@pattonoswalt Agree! I started to read the novels after s3, hesitated about going beyond the show, then figured I’d still enjoy both just as much. Roddy’s perspective in the novels, too…
