Got to learn about dyslexia today. I’m excited to learn more about it on Tuesday when the state department comes. It will help me be a better teacher for my future students!
It was great to hear about gifted education! I learned so many different ways to help my future gifted students and gained a better understanding what it means to be gifted!
Thankful to hear from Dr. Wood on how to serve gifted students in our classroom! We have to know how to serve each student that walks through our door! #servantleaders
Today we got to learn about parent dynamics and how to be successful when talking to parents about their student. It was so helpful and I am feeling really prepared for our mock parent teacher conferences!
It was so cool having the Alabama Archives come and talk to us! We got to learn about appropriate ways to represent history in our classrooms and the resources they offer. I will definitely have to look into this more and remember these resources to use in my classroom one day!
Missing my second grade class at Bryant park a little bit extra today! I’m such a short amount of time I was able to make such great connections with them. They have left such an impact on me!
It was so amazing to attend this event on Friday! I learned so much from them. One thing I really took away was that students do not have to be explicitly taught to learn! I will have to remember that when writing my unit!!
We were delighted to welcome @Bradley_Collins and @ChrissyMetz to campus last week for our special master class! Thank you both for sharing your new book with @SamfordU

These past two weeks at Bryant Park Elementary School have been amazing. It has been so cool being at a fine arts school and seeing how they integrate art into most of they’re lessons. Last week my students were learning about text features and were able to make their own diagram
It was our last day at Trace today! These kids have truly taught me more than I could have sitting in class! I have been able to apply different strategies that we have learned and see how kids learn! Until next time!
