@purplerain984@privaz3tte to miss a day which starts the whole cycle. If you take a set to failure on your 4th rep you will get the same amount of mechanical tension if you would have taken a set to 10+ reps so why do such high reps?
@purplerain984@privaz3tte you are strictly aiming for hypertrophy their is no point in going past 12 reps if you are training to failure which is the part most people miss the most. Doing more sets will cause more muscle gain but the majority of people won’t be able to adequately from it thus causing them
@purplerain984@privaz3tte no you won’t you overtrain your body by doing a absurd number of sets and reps and then your too tired to show up the next day it’s a never ending cycle. Muscle is built on mechanical tension not on the stretch portion nor the amount of reps/ sets you do, train smart not harder
@lewandhilo yes because you guys don’t know what the fuck you are doing you just follow what people tell you to do and do no research. Spending 2+ hours inside the gym doing 5 sets for each movement and see no difference in a year no shit your going to quit
