Spent the weekend learning and creating a tiny @opencode plugin using Effect!
Hand typed with agents teaching me as I go along.
Agent accelerated learning 🎉
Effect v4 is here.
One ecosystem. Zero dependencies.
The next chapter of Effect and the foundation for building reliable software and AI agents in TypeScript.
@thdxr Push notifications for opencode web pwa.
I want to know when agents are done or blocked.
I could add a plugin to ping me on telegram when it’s done or blocked, but it’ll be nice to have it work out of the box.
iOS PWA can be hard to work with though

@almonk Office Wifi routers were resetting which caused some of our self hosted MCPs and CICD to fail earlier today. It really confused the heck out of our agents. Tokens were burnt but they didn’t get annoyed.. just very confused.
hunk v0.21.0 is out - it's a big one:
- 💬 threaded + editable notes
- 🌲 file tree view + better responsive layouts
- 🔍 more git/jj diff operands
- ⚙️ extension APIs: dimmable code blocks, CLI subcommands, & more event hooks
- 🎨 color fixes for 25 themes
Loving the new opencode web mobile design! It’s really a step up in terms of usability.
One minor thing about adding projects though. Add project explorer isn’t scrollable.

@spcxGOD@poteto Thats fair enough for Twitter where its meant for public discourse. I was looking for a specific usecase where operations ask queries to an agent like "what is the payment status for customer X".
I cant be manually replying that :)
poteto poteto poteto how does your agent reply to X messages with such a human voice? I assume it’s built on top of the unslop skill but I have not been able to capture a voice or personality like your agent.
@poteto For context, i'm working on an agent that helps replies operational queries from less technical folks. Still tryna make it explain things simply and concisely.
Wonder if you have any ideas other than to unslop more 🤦
Quick Superlogical demo to end the week. This demo is just of the basic functionality, but I want to highlight just how FAST it is. There's a WHOLE lot more functionality already present and coming but I wanted to keep the demo short. But seriously, check out that speed.
I'm showing the macOS app here and I get asked a lot so let me just say up front: its not macOS only. We're still figuring out exactly what platforms will be stable enough for the initial public release, but we're working on others. In particular, the web interface is very functional but I'll demo that another time (or someone else will).
This is also all showing off the architecture I previously talked about for terminal multiplexing which is significantly different from other mainstream multiplexers: this is all a custom binary protocol where the server is maintaining N replica distributed terminal state machines. It works!
Tons of hard work going into this by the team @almonk@dizzyup@pearkes. Hope we can bring you something you can use soon. ❤️ Happy to answer questions in the replies.
