Hate the way these things are worded now. So, @Dominos_UK I switched on “turn marketing off”. It’s a “yes” to “no”. Isn’t it not? Or is that unincorrect?
@simon_prickett Interesting. Switched my live streaming setup to a MacBook Air (M2 chip, no fans) in December and everything was fine until a few weeks ago, when it just couldn't encode fast enough. So heat was my theory too, even though the Intel Mac mini runs at about 90C when it is streaming.
Dear @Etsy, your seller verification system is fucked. Many established UK sellers being asked to re-verify but can't, and having their stores shut down or payments delayed in the meantime. Sort it out.
@TheSodaCoaster@Etsy Bless you for wishing the @Etsy robots a wonderful day :) Curious how quickly they responded to your ASAP request. Tons of people are getting genuine listings taken down by this ridiculous filter lately.
@TarnNemorensis@scrimsart@Etsy Same here. Plastic craft tool that's been on @Etsy for 2 years suddenly removed after I added a variation called "purple". Maybe that means something else in drug land? But thanks for the nudge to put more listings on eBay I guess... daren't touch my Etsy store atm.
@BOESFXC@Etsy Can confirm nobody replies to these @Etsy support requests. (And that, if you actually need support, none of the options EVER apply to you). If you're lucky, you get an auto-response after a week... so not even auto, just delaying tactics.
@TwoJills@Etsy Lot of reports of this happening on the @Etsy seller forums. I had this (a tool for fibre spinners) removed when I updated it in the app. Did you do something with that new app that they've forced us on to? It's clearly not ready yet, and I fear that's what's causing this.
Yes, @virginmedia have let a lot of people down today. My evening is cancelled. And yes, it’s bad. But for those saying they’re going back to @bt_uk, I promise you it’s not *that* bad.
Good news for me, @CityFibre just wrecked the pavements in our village. So there’s that.
Unfortunately we have seen a repeat of an earlier issue which is causing intermittent broadband connectivity problems for some Virgin Media customers. We apologise again to those impacted, our teams are continuing to work flat out to find the root cause of the problem and fix it.
Getting a quote from @AvivaUK has stumped me. Do I tick to say "yes, I don't want that", even though it appears to give them a green light? Or leave it unticked and figure that "no, I don't want to not hear from you" is actually the right answer? (Genuinely gave up at this point)
Hey @messenger, why don't I have "Invite Link" for any of the group chats I created?
I do have "Member requests" which turns on approval for requests from a group chat link, but that's pointless without actually being able to create the link...
Could @RAC_Care confirm if 01454 665000 and 0333 070 2722 are actually RAC numbers? I'm not sure whether to report the repeated calls as an impersonation scam, or just log a complaint with TPS.
@RoyalMailHelp So it has nothing to do with how much you're actually owed for the delivery? 1p short on a first class letter = £1.50; A 1p stamp on a £2.70 a large letter = £1.50. Might test that second example...
Screw this @RoyalMail Fee To Pay card, preying on FOMO, holding mail to ransom because someone else didn't pay. Fucking evil system. Give me an idea what it is. Letter? Probably junk. Parcel? Might be worth it. If you have the sender's name, tell me. Would a photo be that hard?
I hope @TSB can see why this is confusing. The (incorrect) Payments button is visible on every page; the button you need is only on the Home tab.
Consider adding quotes, using Title Case for the button label, or renaming it "Payments awaiting approval". #uxdesign#uidesign
@AskNationwide Why not just put it on this page. It’s like 2 numbers. Then you save one sheet of paper times 15 million members. Or, about 1,500 trees.
