For me there are two non-negotiables for pens:
1) Never attempt an elaborate run-up.
2) Never allow your CB (unless a technician) to take a pen when midfielders or attackers are available.
Eze, Zubimendi, Noni - not acceptable.
At this level it’s simply unacceptable.
I’ve just run the ENTIRE Arsenal trophy parade route so you don’t have to guess where the best spots are 😂🔴⚪️
And first things first - it’s definitely closer to 10km than 9km.

The whole area is already buzzing. Genuinely one of the most joyful vibes I’ve ever experienced around the Emirates. A thread on parade tips 🧵
The arc of Martin Keown turning more and more aggressive towards all pundits and talk show hosts over the past 3 months in defending the badge with awkward intense eye contact and his serious tone has been lowkey one of my favourite things to experience. My defender. Hero.
Today is for everyone who endured seeing:
The invincibles dismantled
Manuel Almunia
Eduardo's and Ramsey's leg breaks
8-2 at Old Trafford
6-0 at Stamford Bridge
Multiple batterings at Anfield
Bradford away
Finishing 8th
Amaury Bischoff
Other teams singing 2nd again
🚨📊| THE STAT THAT DEFINES ARSENAL'S TITLE-WINNING SEASON.🏆
Across 61 matches in all competitions, Arsenal have been behind for just 403 minutes.
That's it.
To put that into perspective, the Gunners have played 5,490 minutes of football this season and spent only 7.3% of that time trailing.
Even more astonishing?
▫️ Arsenal have trailed by 2+ goals for just 26 minutes ALL SEASON.
Those 26 minutes came in the Carabao Cup Final.
Not in the Premier League.
Not in the Champions League.
Not across a gruelling 61-game campaign.
Just 26 minutes.
In the Premier League, Arsenal have spent only 8.6% of match time behind on the scoreboard, the second-best record in the division.
This is what elite control looks like.
While other teams rely on comebacks, chaos and moments of magic, Arsenal's dominance starts much earlier:
🔸 Rarely fall behind
🔸 Rarely lose control of games
🔸 Relentless defensive structure
🔸Elite game management
🔸 Consistent for 90 minutes
The biggest compliment you can give Mikel Arteta's Arsenal isn't that they win.
It's that they almost never allow opponents to dictate terms.
For years, critics said Arsenal lacked mentality.
Now they're one of the hardest teams in Europe to put behind, let alone beat.
This isn't luck.
This is coaching.
This is structure.
This is control.
This is a champion's mentality. 🏆
We gotta do an Arsenal supporters GRIME set. Kit on and SHELL and celebrate… 22 years in the making. I’m on it!!!! Who’s on it??? #GSS… The UK hiphop brothers should come and control microphone too. Like a 2 in 1 SET and PA’s from the GUNNERS. For the culture 👁️❤️🏆🤍💼🐾
