South Africa, do not let Kenya fool you. We treat our refugees better than anyone in Africa, and better than most countries in the world. It is ironic and deeply hypocritical that Kenyan media houses spent so much time attacking South Africa, calling us xenophobic and heartless. But look at their own policies. Kenya does not allow refugees to integrate into their communities. They are confined to camps, kept in the middle of nowhere, and treated as a separate class of people.
