Most of you see some people in web3 with large portfolio, making insane money and now you think $1M isn’t a lot -
It's depressing and sick to the stomach to see how multi millions portfolios all getting completely wiped out yesterday - I saw many $1M to $50M portfolio getting liquidated on the timeline.
I love you guys and I really enjoy being part of web3, but if I ever hit $5M, you will likely not see me around here anymore.
I reside in Singapore, the most expensive city in the world, yet even so, $5M would be enough to let me retire early comfortably.
I could buy a nice apartment or a house with $2M and still have enough to live a minimalist life with the rest getting yield from DeFi and TradFi.
I know a lot of people out here comes from places where a monthly salary ranges from $50 to $200
If you ever make it to a few hundred thousands,
Pay and reward yourself all the time! Get a house, cash out to real world assets, don't put your entire fund in crypto, especially in a perp account just because you want to trade your way to a Million to become a Millionaire.
Should you somehow hit a million or five, where financial independence becomes real in your situation.
Go for it! - with this money - passive income could generate enough yield to let you live however you please.
if you still want to have exposure in web3 - use some liquidity to farm airdrops, farm yield in defi and stack up some BTC and ETH for long term etc.
The community will miss you a lot but please get the fook outta here.
Go travel the world, pick up new skills, volunteer, learn languages, read a lot, spend time and hang out with your family etc -
There’s so so so much more to life than chasing even more millions, only to risk losing everything you have built up during this process.
Liquidity is King and No one ever went broke by taking a profit.
