๐จ Dragan Solak on his commitment to #SaintsFC following Spygate:
"I really love Southampton, and as long as I'm at the helm, I consider Southampton to be my family. If your son or daughter does something wrong, I would never help them to get away with it, but if they are willing to accept that they did something wrong, and pay the price, what else you can you do? They are still your family."

๐จ Dragan Solak on how he has dealt with Spygate at #SaintsFC:
"I took all of the legal documents, everything, I read through them because I wanted to make my own decision. Then I jumped on a plane to Southampton, I met the players and the team, I met the people at Staplewood. And then finally I had a one-on-one with Tonda.
"Only after that moment, I started to get the final idea of my feelings, and what I would like to do, how I would like to manage this situation.
"After that, I had a very good meeting with Matt Le Tissier, we had a very honest exchange. For me, it was very important how the Saints legends felt, because we were also hurting their legacy as well."

๐ท๐ธ๐๏ธ #SaintsFC owner Dragan Solak: "Whatever crime you did, you can be sentenced only once. I think we were 'over-sentenced'. The punishment that the club received was severe and completely disproportionate to the mistake that we made. We lost our chance to win ยฃ200m.But if they're going to go again and then double that with [a] ban, we might appeal. But he will have my support through the process. But if he's banned, he's banned. I mean, I can't put somebody to manage the club if he is not allowed. I'm looking at him as a young, extremely talented manager - the guy who took our club when we were 21st in the table and brought us almost to direct promotion. I am amazed that Tonda is willing to come back in this hostile environment after the witch hunt he had in the media.I'm pretty sure if the FA decides to ban him, he will get a triple better-paid job in Italy or Germany." @BBCSport
Middlesbrough fans can jog on. They got the spygate result they wanted, we got thrown out and they played the final.
Coventry fans can really jog on. Absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with them.
#saintsfc things at my wedding :
- "matchday programme" for our order of service, went down well!
- best man made a joke about "nothing stopping them getting to Wembley again" - like a lead balloon ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
- red & white theme existed
- "spying on the dancefloor" dance moves ๐
Oh well, Boro can try harder next time ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คฃ maybe by having 1 shot on target. Glad Hull won, they deserved to be promoted after the last couple of weeks. Feel elated for them, gutted for us still. But overall pleased justice was served in the shape of McBurnie. #saintsfc
At all #Boro fans, you have just witnessed why you didn't get promoted, nothing to do with a kid stood next to a tree with military style surveillance equipment taking photos.
You didn't get promoted because you couldn't score in a brothel with ยฃ200m in your pocket.
#JusticeDone
My dad told me he's changed his wedding speech from mentioning Saints to just "general football" because "he can't bear to talk about them right now" ๐ sad times... Also rapidly adding pink flowers into my red and white theme to make it less obvious! #saintsfc
@SmoggySte87 The players on the pitch earnt the right to be there because they won the games regardless. They didn't know what went on, they played football and won ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ it's so harsh on them to be fair. But anyway ..it's like talking to a brick wall so just going to end it there ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ๐คฃ
