@ElectrifyAm 1) stuck overnight because charger can't disconnect, no technician available 2) EA representative called me every hour to follow up not allowing me to sleep 3) EA technician is an hour late this morning

@Frank36390754 @ElectrifyAm late reply. for some reason there was "arc'ing" at the connection point between charger and the charging port. the charger ended up melting the port and welded itself to the port. the manual release wouldn't work. the rivian service was great.

@pwaggs @ElectrifyAm @RivianSoftware @RivianOwners @Rivian Sorry, haven't responded to this. Apparently, there was "arc'ing" involved in the Rivian port. The charger melted itself to the port while charging. Not sure if the fault was Rivian or EA. Rivian customer service was great.
