@Noah2v6c@DailyMail@MisandryE The statistics show most DV is reciprocal. Men underreport at far higher rates than women. Where only one partner is violent 70% of the time its a woman.
@BlackDumpling Notice how her whole message and complaint revolves around correcting young men.
It's never LISTENING to young men.
The level of self unawareness is truly remarkable.
Keep in mind that it was possible for Katie Couric to say that she thinks certain areas of women's health require more attention (from the already established offices for women's health), while simultaneously saying that she also sees the value in the first ever office for men's health to help address men's health issues. But Katie Couric did not say that. Instead, she resorted to lies, half truths, data spin, and zero-sum thinking.
From the mid 70s to the mid 90s the FDA excluded all "women of childbearing potential" from all stage one and (some of) stage two drug trials.
This is cited as proof of "the patriarchy", where [insert soundbite about medicine being centered on male bodies].
But this, to me, is a poor reading of history.
Because these women were not excluded out of oppression, or cruelty, or disregard, but quite the opposite... it was out of protection.
Why?
Well, a decade earlier, pregnant women in America took thalidomide, a drug that had not been properly tested, and it led to horrifying birth defects in their babies.
It was in the wake of this tragedy, that the FDA decided to ban all pregnant women, and all women that could become pregnant, from the riskier early stages of drug trials.
And so, men became the guinea pig of early drug testing.
These men are not a symbol of 'male oppression' at all, in fact they are symbols of male sacrifice, on whose suffering modern medicine has been built.
What's also revealing about this, is that no matter how you arrange history, the same narrative of 'female victimhood' can always be found.
So –
When women (of child bearing potential) were excluded from early FDA drug tests, we hear complaints of "the patriarchy".
But, if I were to go back in time, and reverse the sexes, so that only women were used for untested drugs, you'd still hear the same 'female victimhood' narrative, but this time, something about "women aren't society's guinea pigs!"
That's the truth.
They say history is written by the victor, and it is.
But it seems that it can also be rewritten, by historically illiterate revisionists sat in gender studies labs too.
What do you think?
Talking with @JamesLNuzzo https://t.co/5jxgWRnO2M
@CCriadoPerez Women make more than men to age 39. If they https://t.co/23mnfMd5f5 work straight after having kids or dont have kids, they continue make more then men.
Women have been 63% of colleg/university graduates for 3 decades now.
@CCriadoPerez Ive heard many women (usually feminist women) say men are just a dick with a body attached.
Alot of Rafldfems also refuse to beleive the attached body is even human!
@CCriadoPerez@RachelReevesMP As a percentage of people who attempt to become MPs, twice as many women as men are elected. But 4 x fewer women try! If women attempted to become MPs in the same numbers as men, there would be twice as many female MPs.
@CCriadoPerez If only there was a market for womens shoes that manufacturers could capitalise-on with designs that suited women. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, women just aren't that interested in shoes!
Im unusual in that i have 5 times as many pairs of shoes as my husband!
