So what is behind this strange double standard?
And is every boy not someone else’s son?
What do you think?

Despite being behind at every stage of education, in almost every area, and in every country in the west (with a few exceptions), the world is yet to fully wake up to what is happening to boys in school.
Instead –
We blame boys for not applying themselves, expecting them to sit still and read quietly for hours every day, within an educational system that is simply not designed for them.
And so these frustrated, bored and bemused boys disengage, misbehave, fall behind, and drop out; to the point that, by the time it comes to university, they are outnumbered by girls 3:2.
The systemic failure of boys is beyond doubt, and yet people don’t want to hear it…
Until, that is, they have a son of their own, and they see the tragic tale of boys’ educational underachievement play out in real time.
And this leaves us with a bizarre contradiction.
If you ask Americans: are they more worried about their sons or daughters, every group, men, women, liberals and conservatives, says “our sons”.
But ask them if they are more worried about girls or boys, then you’ll see liberals flip, with more concern for “girls”.
Yup they are worried for their sons, but less so for ‘boys’…
So what is behind this double standard... and is every boy not someone else’s son?

In America, men have worse health outcomes across every ethnic, racial and socioeconomic group; they are more likely to die at every age; and they lead in 13 of the top 15 causes of death.
Meanwhile, the National Institutes of Health spends about 2.5 times more on women’s health research than it does on men’s, and this has been true for nearly forty years.
Yet, despite this… there are now eight federal, tax-funded Offices of Women’s Health, and zero for men.
And so, statistically speaking, the formation of the first Office of Men’s Health seems like a no-brainer, and an urgently needed step to help stem the deluge of early male deaths.
But sadly, many still find it a controversial ask, and remain dedicated to undermining any political move to open such an office.
Instead, such people insist the opposite is true: that women’s health is where attention, and all the funding, should go.
So let’s look at the stats and ask what is so unpopular about men living long, healthy, happy lives…

Why is it important for our leaders to recognize International Men’s Day? Because then the public will take addressing the challenges of boys and men more seriously.

If, when, and who you marry could be the most important decision you ever make.
Yet, some people do it on a whim.
Some marry too soon.
Some marry the wrong person.
Some think marriage will fix things.
So, who better for men to get advice from, than married men themselves?
Yup.
Generations of sneering "we don't need men" and "the future is female", evaporates in the most terrifying way imaginable, as the young men whose soul we've chipped away at for decades, are needed as meat shields.
(no hard feelings against Wes, IMO he's done a lot for men)
I don't care that he follows a bunch of people.
@JohnCena is the absolute epitome of masculine wholesomeness, and is an S-tier male role model.
This made my day.
It’s not just your local bombastic, Bugatti-driving podcast bro who wins from the gender war.
A small army of organisations and so-called ‘masculinity experts’ line their pockets by stoking the fires of division and pitting women against men too.
Sensational headlines. Hysterical slogans. Fear-mongering, dehumanising rhetoric… and at the centre of it all, bogus research that twists and contorts methodologies, placing a thumb on the scale to get the answers they want.
So let’s talk about the research that too often strays away from scientific endeavour and strolls into dogmatic gender ideology instead…
