Re: abusers.
It's hard to find empathy, but it's important to remember no one becomes an abuser in a vacuum. Every instance of abuse comes from a place of trauma.
Not to say abusers should be given passes. Support their victims/do no harm. In rare cases abusers can recover.
This is child abuse. This is not age appropriate.
4 year old little boys deserve to be 4 year old little boys, not have their own childhood and innocence taken from them through mothers forcing them to take responsibility for adult crimes.
@OrthoAnglo81 I've been there.
Every day I did one small thing genuinely good for my body. I ate fruit and vegetables or drank my water or skipped the extra coffee. It snowballed. Real self care, even in tiny amounts, tells you that you love you and rewires your brain over time.
Exactly.
I've said it before: the narrative was once to drink responsibly and to have a sober person in every friend group for parties. We were taught in high school more than a single drink an hour placed you at higher risk of unwanted situations. We were taught to never "hook up" under the influence.
Man or woman. It wasn't gendered. It's ridiculous to assume a man's body processes alcohol differently than a woman's, as outside of the general size considerations you're unaware if he's on medication or has a health condition to impact.
I have seen men try to take advantage of drunk women, and I've seen women try to take advantage of drunk men. I've seen women consent to sex then call rape, and I've heard men tell stories of drinking and being raped by women.
"Unfortunately, the CTDC reports that in 36% of human trafficking cases, children/youth were intentionally sexually exploited by family members looking for a payoff in the form of drugs, money, or something else of value. In a recent study, 64% of these traffickers were mothers, who were assisted by a nonrelative trafficker,"

To be clear, this is sex trafficking. This is sex trafficking, by another name. Many children are sex trafficked by parents, and many of those parents are mothers.

These rape stats (that specify rape) do not include MTP due to legal definition; inclusion of MTP stats.
We are far more similar, men and women, when it comes to sexual victimization that media portrays. We should be aiding everyone regardless of gender.
People continue to laugh at and belittle men made to penetrate by women.
If you knew approximately 40% of MTP victims weren't men at all, but male children under 18, would you laugh?

926 students responded, resulting in a 15% response rate, with 519 of those responding identifying as women.
Of the men who responded, 8% reported sexual assault.
"Adult heterosexual men were less likely than adult heterosexual women to report
IPV by their female partners (McCarrick et al., 2016). One reason for this was that
women were arrested 62% of the time as compared to men who were arrested 91% of the
time by law enforcement officers (Espinoza & Warner, 2016). This was referred to as
gendered stigmatization (Espinoza &Warner, 2016). Ceelan et al. (2013) found that out
of 372 men who participated in a study as victims of IPV from women partners, less than
32% spoke to the police, and less than 15% of them officially reported the abuse."

We talk constantly about protecting victims โ so protect all of them.
Spread the message.
Men can be raped, abused, manipulated and assaulted too. Their trauma does not become less real because theyโre male, and speaking about male victims does not erase women.
It means the standard is consistent.
#MenToo โ men are victims too.
Genius is 140. So a person can score 120-130 and be high average, or a genius. Genius also doesn't exist, officially. You couldn't figure that out, as smart as you are? There's just blank number jumps in your scores? Not unusual, and no child scores aren't unreliable. What do you think gifted programs are built on?
@Chaddadbod@discordspies@Hitchslap1 It's always a sign of low intelligence when people immediately tirn to insults, especially insults based in things they can't possibly know.
