@MattAlexSt@OwenJones84 This! Indeed - there were four labour gains (campaigned hard for) from Tories - Filton and Bradley Stoke, North Somerset, Weston Super-Mare and North-East Somerset and Hanham.
@OwenJones84 Nearby conservative seats like:
Filton and Bradley Stoke
North East Somerset and Hanham
North Somerset
and Weston-Super-Mare?
Yes, why didn’t Labour try to win them?
@ta_mills If only someone had told Jeremy Corbyn that with first past the post, vote share matters less than spread of the vote -maybe then he could have had a chance.
@DrJessTaylor I got this wrong on my last tweet - what you are saying is dangerous - it completely misrepresents trauma therapy. This maybe because you have no qualified clinical experience.
@DrJessTaylor Fortunately, no one is taught this - we do use some simplified models - and lots of metaphors. But no-one is taught not to trust people’s trauma memories. Ever.
Perhaps you did a different clinical training?
#TRIPLIVE At the covid enquiry even Boris Johnson acknowledged that having few women in the room contributed to bad decision making. Which women would you choose to invite to cohost TRIP.
@helenlewis I’ve come to this late, but I loved it. It reminded me of my mother’s take. She died years ago, but I had an urge to chat about it with her. She’d have especially liked “… there is always one person far more into scrabble than the other”. Thankfully she modelled never playing.
@DrJessTaylor I believe both: that abusers should be held to account. And that siblings can have very different experiences of parents and that may affect them.
@AaronBastani … and when David Cameron said “calm down dear” to Angela Eagle in the House of Commons also lovely. It’s identical arrogant passive aggressiveness.
