.@J_A_C_S have published (I think!) their first comment/response!! Unlike other journals, they also include an independent statement from the journal, which is a very exciting development! https://t.co/hqkpYMsAHl
Not so fast! Our new paper re-examines claims of enhanced diffusion during chemical reactions using #diffusionNMR, finding no evidence for the phenomenon. Instead, we identify and overcome a number of measurement artefacts which were responsible for the original result.
Next pre-print! "Following Molecular Mobility During Chemical Reactions: No Evidence for Active Propulsion" #NMR#diffusion (let's try again with the TOC?) https://t.co/pYtSYr3Kjw
Our new @ChemRxiv preprint discusses problematic NMR diffusion claims. All data and analysis are available online, so please have a look and let us know your thoughts! #NMR#NMRchat#diffusion https://t.co/kk8sEl35ef
People from seven different countries (L to R: China🇨🇳, South Korea🇰🇷, USA🇺🇸, Scotland🏴, England🏴, Australia🇦🇺 and Vietnam🇻🇳) are having a group dinner at Bananapalm with in sight of Coogee Beach. @kim_dongjun@Fahrenbachus@sirfrasersays @Thechri40395516
First face-to-face meeting of Lucy's "gold" supervisory team! Lucy is a Scientia PhD @UNSW in #Chemistry@UNSWScience with @JonBeves myself and @sirfrasersays She researches game-changing supramolecular chemistry of gold compounds and we try not to get (too much) in her way.
