We've started a new research project at @crd_york, looking at early phase trials of treatments for children/young people with relapsed and refractory #neuroblastoma, funded by @cclguk! We're looking for parents to help us with the research. Drop me an email/DM for more info ✉️!
If you or someone you know fancies working with us at the @CandlelightersT Supportive Care Research Centre at @UniOfYork@HullYorkMed a PhD looking at wellbeing interventions for families of children with cancer - chat with me! (Please share widely)

I've learnt so much already from parents of children who have had follow-up scans for #medulloblastoma and #ependymoma.
The study, based at the University of York, is still recruiting and we'd love to hear about your thoughts, feelings and experiences!
📢 The 1st spin-off project from the baseline review has been published!
The Local-REFoRMS paper looking at the use of combined surgery & brachytherapy for children/young people with relapsed/refractory #rhabdomyosarcoma is now available online! 👇

The interview study that I'm doing for my PhD is open for recruitment!
I'm really excited to learn about the experiences of parents of children who've had follow-up care for medulloblastoma or ependymoma.
Please contact me for more info if you're interested in taking part🙂
We are happy to say that the SCAN-ME interview study is OPEN for recruitment! If you are a parent/guardian of a child who has had follow-up scans for #medulloblastoma or #ependymoma, we would love to speak to you about your experiences.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In the New Year, I’ll be starting a PhD with help from @drbobphillips other members of the University of York, looking at follow-up scans for children with medulloblastoma and ependymoma (1/3)
If you, or your child, have experience of having follow-up scans after finishing treatment for medulloblastoma or ependymoma, and want to be a part of our patient/parent group, we would love to hear from you! Just drop me a DM, if you want to help out, or have any questions (3/3)
We want the research that we do to be meaningful to those who it will impact, so we are looking for families with experience of follow-up scans for medulloblastoma or ependymoma to help shape the research we will be doing (2/3)
We are happy to say that we are now OPEN for recruitment for the interview study for the REFoRMS project!
We want to hear from parents/guardians & children/young people about how they make treatment decisions for relapsed/refractory #rhabdomyosarcoma
Further info below 👇
What a way to end the week...
We have finished title & abstract screening for the first stage of our #SystematicReview 😀
We have narrowed down almost 17,000 possible abstracts to just 600 papers to be looked at in the next stage of screening!
