@BCU_CYPnursing @Helenski17 This is definitely something I have had to think about and I think it's a lot easier said than done; prioritisation, being honest when you are too busy, signposting or delegating others can help in avoiding taking on too much workload and becoming burnt out #CYPNUR6074

@Helenski17 Remembering a development plan is implemented to support the student in their learning. It is important to consider the student's personal life and their wellbeing, asking questions can help us gain an insight and understanding so support can be implemented suitably #CYPNUR6074

@Helenski17 I think an effective practice supervisor is someone who spends the time in sharing knowledge and experiences and being patient with students. Also, being passionate about what they do, it can really rub off on students and inspire them! #CYPNUR6074

@BCU_CYPnursing @Helenski17 I would maybe ask them to create a list of key skills or learning areas that they would like to develop on, each shift we can focus on one of these areas in more depth. I feel this helps the student pinpoint their learning needs and we can build on them together #CYPNUR6074

@Helenski17 @nmcnews Students will work with a variety of practice supervisors throughout placement shifts, collect feedback from these professionals within the MYEPAD which will ultimately influence the practice assessors decision of competency passing a placement #CYPNUR6074
