The Ale Conners of @cityoflondon attended the reopening of the Hoop & Grapes in Farringdon, upholding a centuries-old custom of inspecting ale in the Square Mile. It was a fun night and the beer was great!
Thanks to @ShepherdNeame for their fine hospitality.
Last night scum stole the statue of my Grandfather Teddy Baldock Britain's youngest ever World Boxing Champion. The statue was unveiled outside the Langdon Park DLR Station in Poplar, East London. Years of work and a stunning work of art by the sculptor, the late Carl Payne will be sold for scrap and melted down. Please retweet in case we can recover it.
Great to be at the @TheTroubleClub screening of the @netflixuk film #LeftHandedGirlFilm last night
And thanks for the great goodie bag for left-handed guests that live in a right-handed world!
After a wonderful year of writing, producing and directing theatre at the University of East London, I've just been awarded an MA in Directing for Stage & Screen. What fun it's been! @UEL_News

A beer-illiant time was had by all at the 11th annual @CityBeerFest in aid of @LMAppeal in Guildhall Yard yesterday!
Delivered in partnership with the Worshipful Company of Brewers, the event featured several of the finest brewers from the UK and across Europe, as well as food stalls and live music. A fantastic demonstration of the City's charitable giving and hospitality offer!
