@Gemmiekatie1 Oh gosh, it’s awful you also felt the same pressure to go back too early after such a complex procedure☹️ Would be really beneficial for people with genuine reasons to be given a little flexibility around completing as it can be so stressful x

1 year since I nursed my first confirmed covid positive patient. I’ve never cried as much as I did back then but at the same time I feel so humbled I had the opportunity to do my best for people when they needed it the most.
@Gregmendel1822 @SamAWillc @theRCN It’s not about who works the hardest. It’s about paying us appropriately for the job we are doing. NHS staff have worked tirelessly, knowingly putting our lives on the line daily to care for people. A 1% pay rise (for most meaning a cut) feels like a smack in the face
