@RAFGender Seems the reluctance to "aviator" is not all RAF pers fly. Not all Pilot Offs are pilots, not all Flying Offs fly, and Ground trades are integral to Air Power. It's not about who flies, or doesn't. RAF = aviation. If RAF Personnel is deemed a mouthful then "aviator" works imho.
