A vegan diet remains an impactful choice. It reduces animal suffering, challenges the dominant narrative around our relationship to animals and opens the door to conversations abt why plant-based eating matters. #HappyNewYear#veganuary https://t.co/TmnmD2RPkh
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of one of our candidates for Paulton, Tim Morgan. The Green Party would like to offer our deepest condolences to his friends and family at this difficult time. The election for Paulton is suspended.
If you’re also feeling angry, sad and useless, may I politely suggest you donate to @BritishRedCross to help those in urgent need in Ukraine if you can

Great to see Quorn - major brand of imitation meat products - focusing on fibre. A lot of vegans enjoy this type of food, but they are often a lot lower in fibre than other great vegan protein sources such as beans and pulses. Great to see this!
We're passionate about creating a healthier population, that’s why we've joined the #ActiononFibre campaign in conjunction with @Foodanddrinkfed. We're proud of our pledges aiming to help bridge the gap between UK #fibre intakes and dietary recommendations.

What a fantastic article on Imposter Syndrome! So important to recognise imposter syndrome for what it is when you experience it instead of thinking these feelings are based in truth. Also reassuring to know other dietitians get this too!

Great program on radio 4 two days ago on vegan/veggie ultra-processed foods. These products are very tasty so no wonder they are popular! But it's true the packaging can imply a healthy product, despite being high in salt, fat etc.. Catch up here: https://t.co/jzyBVvJmCi
Just caught up with Nutriweb's Soy webinar with Dr Mark Messina last year - very interesting to hear recommendations for young girls to have 1 soy serving per day as this may reduce risk of future breast cancer! Catch up with this here: https://t.co/zXXt0oZN6W

@DrAseemMalhotra A malnourished individual with a MUST +4, raised CRP, dementia, admitted due to #NOF. Dietary intake less than 500 kcals /day. Diet hx reveals all puddings eaten and sugar in tea. Priorities? Feed the patient. You're not going to offer this patient asparagus on soda toast.
