@jonahtennis I’m not normally one to sing the praises of Russian players but I think it’s great that they have come to the wedding and are putting it on their social media when LGBT people are persecuted and anti-homosexuality statements are very prevalent in Russian society.
@thedoctor_Tom@josemorgado I’ve read something suggesting her Grandfather is pretty unwell, so wonder if it was a very last minute decision so he could be present.
@ParthJindal11@Wimbledon I have tickets for Ladies finals day, sat just about the Royal Box, and they are £350 per seat. I won the ballot to get them. It’s a lot of money (some people will have ‘won‘ cheaper seats) but my understanding is that it’s a fraction of the US ticket price when I‘ve looked p.
@mcdermottkc_ I have a landline but it’s via a VoIP using Andrews & Arnold Ltd. I had to buy new landline handsets and it was genuinely the hardest tech thing that I’ve ever configured. All that said, I could keep my prev landline number and it costs <£3 per month.
@soniasodha I’m 41. Switching from being a doctor to a barrister. Did the law conversion part time with ULaw too and now do the Bar course alongside work. We’re never too old for a second act and if something doesn’t feel right anymore in your first career, be brave enough to make a change.
@cmsdrums@bbcpress@BBCiPlayer Joseph Fiennes was in the original production, with Gwilym Lee taking on the role in the revival/ tour. Lucky enough to see both productions and I think Joseph Fiennes edged it very slightly for best performance.
@bagshaw2112@BBC She’s done an amazing job but does anyone want to tell the BBC she hasn’t technically made it to Pudsey. Finish line being in Calverley is equivalent of saying you made it to Kensington but have actually only got to Knightsbridge!
@13legallykiri If you’re looking a really cheap option, there is a new capsule hotel called Zedwell capsules that starts from £30 per night. My very picky friend stayed recently and says it’s fine for a couple of nights. It’s in Piccadilly Circus
@amyghunt Well done Amy. As you said in my favourite quote of the year so far ‘Hope everyone’s getting their popcorn ready… because outdoors is where the real show begins’ This is merely the start!
@Robyn_Cahill93 @juliaisobela This is the best advice. Time will keep passing and it will eventually end! It was given to me before my first on call in 2007, I have passed it on to many others since and my mind always comes back to it even now during a busy consultant on call shift.
@JennyMeadows800 It was the first ticket I put in my basket because I was so sure she’d do it. My Mum and I have such great memories from that night in the stadium. Hopefully the first of many for her and I’m already signed up for the LA2028 ticket release updates!
@BarclayCard18 When she’s smiling and looks happy, I never really doubt her, even when she’s a break down. I remember several matches in the US Open run, she quickly went a break down but solved the puzzle each time to win the set and that memory has really stuck with me.
