2/2. Many of their to be graduates have been working in the front line as midwives, nurses, paramedics, teachers etc. since the pandemic started. I’m a burnt out midwife and the thought of graduating was giving me something to look forward to.

After a day on labour ward it’s heartbreaking to hear how many pregnant women have not had their covid vaccine, thinking they’re protecting their baby, when the absolute reverse is true.

There’s a lot of covid around, the vaccine saves lives.

I head obstetrics & neonates. On NICU this am- staff are broken. Such a tragedy for critically ill mothers and their babies that don’t make it but we are also seeing so, so many premature births. Please, please protect yourselves and your precious babies -get covid immunised ASAP
