Bondi Beach. Sydney, Australia. Way before I had written my first novel. But I recall vividly standing there as my wife snapped the photo and thinking, “This would make a pretty good author shot someday.” What’s the point? I had to see it before I could be it. 33 books have been written since, and I make my full-time living from writing. Please don’t break down on the edge of a breakthrough. Keep going. Keep writing. Keep hoping. It will be well worth it. #WritingCommunity.
Our team is sending a huge congratulations to all the authors on the @Wigleaf Top 50 and longlist, and celebrating these Pithead Chapel stories selected! 🎉

Some writers want to change the world. That’s terrific. We need those. But we also need silly authors, goofy ones, the kind that tell stories that make the world bearable until those serious authors can make it better." ~ Barlow Adams
Ahh so proud of my #flashfiction story (originally published in @StanchionZine) which was adapted to screenplay and selected for the Chicago Indie Film Awards.
(So please keeping running toward your wildest dream, it just might be in reach)
I have a new story up @hexliterary, a journal I’m super proud to be in! I was able to write toward one of my favorite movies of all time—Blade Runner! Thank you so much to @DanTheDadBodGod for taking this one, and for his staunch support of my work! https://t.co/aRMUtYmXJV
