@wondrwindchime @DesuExMachina42 Honestly. Yeah. The sister stuff makes it worse. Toothbrush scene potentially worst, damaging scene for his character in the whole series, and that was my first exposure to the show years ago.

@DesuExMachina42 Araragi explicitly states he’s not a creep and doesn’t really show it during Bake either. During Nise his character does a 180, which would have came out the year this was posted potentially.

@SuicioStealthy @NARMAK13 Similar phenomenon with cultural relevancy I saw when Assassins Creed 3 (?) dropped. I had mw republican friends that did not gaf about vidya hyped for the American flag game. That’s all it takes.

@SUMMONFISH A lot of times when I’m writing second drafts, I realize the people in universe are missing a critical aspect in their lives for functioning society to make sense. And then any explanation I write seems too brief like I’m brushing off something major. Very difficult.
