Federal authorities have seized Rep. 𝐈𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐫's phone and issued more than a dozen grand jury subpoenas, including to several of her relatives, according to a person briefed on the investigation. The DOJ confirmed agents executed a court-authorized search warrant at Omar’s Washington, D.C. home as part of an ongoing federal criminal probe.

Among those subpoenaed: Omar’s sister, 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐫, a healthcare executive, along with at least one other member of her family circle. Sources told Fox News Digital the grand jury is examining 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐦𝐚𝐫’𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 — paperwork investigators say was allegedly completed decades ago by her late father.

D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed the investigation isn’t limited to immigration records: “𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯”, she told Fox News, adding her office is also reviewing Omar’s financial disclosures.
