Bad timing.
The story of his life.
Amused, Sirius gently bit the finger that was pressed against his lips, before peaking his own head out of their hiding spot to check if itโs clear.
โRemus Lupin wants to ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ค ๐ข๐ญ?
Can you say it again for me.โ
โNo, because with you
I actually ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง ๐ข๐ญ.โ
For a moment the mischief disappears and is replaced with a look of seriousness, gaze dancing upon his best friendโs face; eyes adjusting to the darkness.
Noticing movement up ahead, Sirius mutters a ๐ง๐จ๐ฑ so the light would go out on the tip of his wand whilst pulling Remus into a tight hidden space.
โI might be named after a star, but youโre the only one I want to gaze at.โ
A whisper, wanting to gift a unique compliment.
Whoโs to say Sirius doesnโt have a plan to secure the goods and then return to snuggle up with Remus for the rest of the night?
โI always need you, Moony.
Donโt you ever forget that.โ
He begins to lead Remus out of the room and into the hall, keeping an eye out for professors.
Pulling away, he performs a full body shake to try and rid himself of pent up energy before leaping off the couch and transforming out of animagus form, a hand reaching for the nearest robe.
Robe secured, he holds out a hand towards Remus.
โUp.
Youโre coming with me.โ
If he could smirk right now whilst in canine formโฆ
Is that supposed to be a threat? Rems can call him puppy any time he likes, you know, best friend privileges and all.
He doesnโt want James, he wouldnโt be ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ if he did, so heโs nuzzling his fur against Remusโ touch.
Admitting defeat, Sirius finally obeys, hopping up onto the couch beside Remus, doing absolutely nothing but staring; even giving him ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ puppy-dog eyes.
Now Sirius was starting to feel a little guilty, all he wanted was to unleash a little mischief, but somehow he always manages to disappoint people, even Remus.
Jumping down and retrieving the book he places it back upon the otherโs lap, furry chin also resting on knees.
The threat of being told heโd have to sleep outside in the pouring rain made him shiver in disgust, but being called a ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ was the icing on the cake.
Dropping the book to the floor, Sirius, still in animagus form, leaps back on Remusโ lap and licks all over his face.
Thereโs a canine-like whine of disapproval, if thereโs one thing about Sirius, he doesnโt like rejection or lack of attention.
Instead he quickly takes the book between sharp teeth and jumps off of Remusโ lap.
heโs definitely fine with skipping classes, itโs not like he doesnโt do it most of the time anyway.
Tongue darts out as he licks her cheek, leaving it all wet and slobbery.
