@real_mae_emery @killedbygoogle As with any storage you should have backups. If you use Cloud you should not store it in 1 cloud. Nothing is wrong with cloud storage it's cheaper then setting it up properly yourself.

@VicVijayakumar You can make anything scale but normally there should be a question should you. MySQL scales with allot of time money and effort. Vs something like dynamodb if it fits your use case requires zero effort to scale to world scale. It's all about picking your battles.

@NeverSinkDev You should not be using lamdas for this work. Long ii wait times kill AWS costs, you should look at ECS tasks that scale based on usage. Reduced my lamda costs from 7 figures to 3.
