I believe it’s only a matter of months before AI completely changes the form factor of the devices we use every day. And when that happens, Apple will become the IBM of the personal computer era.

The next generation of Apple Intelligence powers an entirely new Siri: making the apps and experiences you rely on across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro more personal and helpful than ever.
California’s election results are not surprising. People have already been voting with their feet by leaving the state for red states over the past few years.
What’s interesting is the gap between lived reality and political loyalty. Families leave because California became unaffordable, yet many still support the leadership and policies that shaped that reality.
I’d consider this a cause-and-consequence problem. Rent control is the perfect example: it sounds smart and compassionate, but by discouraging supply, it often creates shortages and makes housing less affordable over time.
The most interesting thing here is that Ferrari is not trying to make an 'aggressive' sports car. EVs are naturally associated with smoothness and comfort, and I believe this car fully embraces that. My bet is that the Luce is defining what an electric supercar should be.
Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Starting price: $640,000
• Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Range: 280 miles (expected EPA)
• Peak charging speed: 350kW
• 122 kWh battery
• 1,050 horsepower
• 0-60mph: 2.4s
• 800v
• Four-door four-seater
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Weight: 4,982 lbs
• Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm
• Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car.
• Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels
• The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered
• 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S
U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. More photos in the thread below:
@mateodr_ Ici je ne pense pas qu’il soit question de culture. C’est juste que dans un cas tu as parlé de ton projet à un entrepreneur, dans un second cas tu as parlé à un employé. L’un aime la prise de risque, l’autre cherche la stabilité.
Mais bref, lance ton projet 👍
I’m starting to think the software market isn’t so different from any other market. Just because there are already three barbers in town doesn’t mean you shouldn’t become a barber, what matters is whether the market is big enough for you to earn a decent living.
@Altimor As a French-born person immigrating to the U.S., I can confirm every word of this post. I wish Europeans would wake up from their long-standing illusions, but the truth is currently buried beneath layers of disinformation.
Life goal: be a time traveler, go back 800 years ago, give them a completely disassembled iPhone and eat popcorn while they figure out how to put it together/see their first piece of technology
