Keir Starmer is barely out of the door, and the Labour establishment is already preparing to raid your bank account.

Andy Burnham’s economic blueprint has leaked, and it is a complete disaster for the British middle class.

He is backing a scheme to scrap council tax and replace it with a new annual property tax of 0.48% of your home's value. 🤡

If you live in an average £553,000 house, you will be forced to pay £2,654 every single year just for the privilege of living in your own home.

But the Labour tax grab gets even worse. 💷

Burnham wants to hike the top rate of income tax to 50p.

His economic advisers are also pushing to scrap capital gains tax and tax your investments and dividends at full income tax rates.

He is even proposing a flat 10% care levy on all inheritance, dragging millions of ordinary families into a death tax on their loved ones' estates from pound one.

They are coming for everything you have built.
And look at how quickly they will lie to your face just to get your vote.

To win the Makerfield by-election last week, Burnham promised WASPI women he would "stick by" them and deliver billions in pension compensation.

The second the vote was over, his team immediately backflipped and admitted they have zero plans to pay it. 🤡

They ruled out cash payouts entirely, offering them taxpayer-funded bus passes instead.

They treat the public like absolute fools while using your hard-earned wages to fund their political ambitions.

The global financial markets are already panicking.

The yield on 10-year gilts spiked the second Starmer resigned because Burnham openly declared he wants to stop being in hock to the bond markets, which is code for massive, reckless state borrowing.

This will drive UK mortgage rates and business loans through the roof, leaving everyday families to pay the price.

Labour has simply changed the face in Downing Street, but the plan to bleed the working class dry remains exactly the same.

They are no longer the Labour Party, they are the Welfare Party. It doesn’t matter who is in charge of these people, the party for Benefits Street will tax us all into poverty to pay for more welfare.

Pat McFadden has said in private what he and the Prime Minister deny in public. As I’ve said repeatedly, Labour MPs don’t understand where money comes from. They think our taxes are their money to spend, rather than the result of the hard work of the people in our country who deserve so much better.

The Conservative party is the only party holding Labour to account, as Reform, Lib Dems the SNP and others join Labour in demanding the state pay more and more benefits.

Nothing sums up Keir Starmer’s leadership like today’s choreography.

The Prime Minister is photographed slipping out of the back door of No10 on the very day thousands of pages of Mandelson‑Epstein documents land – and his spokesman immediately tells journalists there will be no public appearance from him at all.

Instead, the dirty work is handed to Darren Jones, the ‘Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister’, who has been wheeled out over and over again as the human shield for this scandal.

He’ll make a statement to MPs after 3.30pm, reciting the latest talking points about “unprecedented transparency” and “the largest ever response to a humble address”, then soak up an hour of questions Starmer is too scared to answer himself.

Remember: it was Starmer who ignored the Epstein warnings, Starmer who signed off Mandelson, Starmer who apologised to Epstein’s victims for believing Mandelson’s lies, and Starmer who insisted he wanted the files out.

Yet on the one day the country finally gets to read those files in full, he hides behind a back exit and a spokesman’s line about having “no public‑facing commitments.”

If he truly believed his own ‘nothing to hide’ mantra, he’d be on the front bench at 3.30, taking every question himself.

The Office of the Prime Minister is lying to the public.

Downing Street told the British public that the IMF upgraded Britain's growth forecast. That is false. The IMF did no such thing. What actually happened: the UK received the largest growth downgrade of any G7 nation. The sole revision a nudge from 0.8% to 1% for 2026 only occurred because the baseline was already so catastrophically low that a dead cat would have bounced higher.

This is not politics as usual. This is a deliberate fabrication presented as fact, and the machinery of state is now so corroded that no one in power even bothers to pretend otherwise. Parliament sits silent. The press parrots the lie. The institutions meant to restrain power now hold the doors open while it loots the place.

What remains is not governance. It is a kleptocracy of narrative where truth is whatever Downing Street decides it is this morning, and tomorrow it will be something else entirely. The public is not being served. The public is being conned, openly, repeatedly, and without consequence.
