@youruncleonx Ma is quite very formal though. I have an elder sibling who seniors me by over 29 years, and I call him with a Brother or Uncle, prefix, followed by his actually name. Different families, different dynamics. If "ma" works for you then it is alright.

I admire the man's ingenuity. There's distinctly a deeper cleverness to his interaction with the lady. He is not as fazed as people may think; this is more or less an amusement, although a precarious one. And, as usual, Twitter people would trivialise it to a gender discourse.

I have been reluctant to speak publicly about a private matter, but what has happened over the past few weeks has gone beyond a personal disagreement. It is now affecting my reputation, my home, my wife and my family, and I believe I need to put my side of the story on record.

@OriDavid17 Yes, though I was speaking of a normal relationship, not theirs. I prefer the idea of my partner being able to write properly more than actually writing that way all the time. There'd be no need to, but yes, to each their own.

It's cool, yeah, but it gets tiring after a while if your partner repeatedly uses formal English in the name of articulation. You can be eloquent while still sounding casual or genial. It is a different case if that's their default way of speaking, though.

Away from their madness, I quite appreciate their mastery and command of English language.

I also want to salute both of them for interacting like sane human beings. I mean I do not see ridiculous abbreviations- they spelt out most of the words.

Additionally, their use of punctuation marks is commendable.

I love people that do not allow debauchery and the yearn for “epon” and a sandbox for testing “rizz” deflect them from strict compliance with the rules of grammar.

I've become more accepting that people have different views and interests from me, and that restricting myself only to people I agree with, is not a healthy way for me to approach social relationships, particularly romantic ones.

I noticed a weird thing about Airtel. I use a Samsung but my brother uses an iPhone. He ran out of data and wanted me to hotspot him, but the network was poor. He then claimed it was the phone and switched the sim to his Iphone. Viola! The speed was lightning. I was dumbfounded.
