Day 16 of Road to 10k Days:
I took the day off today.
I needed some time to myself to reflect a little.
To reflect on what’s going well, what isn’t going well, and what I need to improve along the way.
I usually reflect every night before going to bed on what went well and what didn’t.
But sometimes you don’t notice certain things because you aren’t really taking the time to look inward.
That’s why today was important.
Tomorrow, things will go on as usual, but I’ll focus on the areas I need to work on.
Day 15 of Road to 10k Days:
Today I was able to finish the tasks from yesterday that I hadn't been able to complete.
I also sat down to work on the PDP, which still needed to be finished.
Started also reading a new book today called Tested Advertising Methods by John Caples.
It seems like a great book, even though I’ve only read a few pages.
I didn’t go to the gym today because it’s my rest day this week.
I’ll update you tomorrow on what’s going on.
Day 14 of Road to 10k Days:
It wasn't the best day.
I had a long list of tasks for today...
But it felt like I couldn't get any of them done because I was having problems with my Mac today.
It overheated badly, and unfortunately, I couldn't get it under control.
I don't know if it's because of the heat we're having right now.
I'm sure everything will be fine again tomorrow.
I’d love to know how to handle situations like this.
If anyone else has this problem from time to time, it would be awesome if someone had a tip on how to fix it.
Otherwise, tomorrow it’s back to tackling the same to-do list and getting those tasks done.
Let’s get this shit.
There are dreams and goals to chase.
Time is running away.
I’ll keep you posted, whoever’s seeing my tweets
Day 13 of Road to 10k Days:
Finished another ad batch today and worked on some other stuff.
Hit the gym. Ate clean. Worked well.
What do you want more.
Beside family, good friends and health.
One thing is missing...
A fucking rari and a lot of cash but I will get there.
Can clearly see it in front my eyes.
Tomorrow will be the same, working working working.
It's a bit of a strange feeling to know that I no longer have a side job and I'am now just working from home
But it feels amazing.
Day 12 of Road to 10k Days:
Wake up, work, gym, work, sleep
Every day is the same shit.
But I fucking love it.
I’m making good progress right now.
Finished another advertorial today; tomorrow I’ll create image ads for the batch, and then another one will be done.
I’ll have to go over the PDP again because I noticed some faults that need to be fixed to ensure congruency.
And then test the new batches.
Let’s see how they perform.
I need to get even faster, but still with intent.
It all comes with time, by stacking up reps.
Lesson today:
Strong claims paint pictures.
Compare these two:
❌ "You'll have the best sleep of your life."
✅ "You'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud."
The first tells.
The second lets your prospect experience the outcome before they buy.
That's the power of picture words.
Day 11 of Road to 10k Days:
Nothing special happened today.
I kept working on my tasks and created a new daily schedule since I now have more time on my hands and will be working from home full-time starting today.
Now it's getting serious.
Time to really get started.
Day 10 of Road to 10k Days:
What's up, folks?
I was really productive today and managed to get a lot of things done.
I'm currently writing another advertorial to improve my skills and get a feel for the structure and everything.
I also started reading *Scientific Advertising* by Claude Hopkins today.
Lesson I took away from the book today:
Specificity is key—make your copy specific, whether it’s the headline, the body copy, social proof, claims, etc. With specificity, you build trust with the reader so your copy isn’t vague like everyone else’s.
I also hit the gym today and crushed a chest workout.
I’m doing my best to go to the gym every day and be disciplined.
Spent also a little time with my family this evening. As I’ve said before in another tweet, don’t forget your loved ones.
And focus on them. I know it’s impossible to completely switch off, but try as much as possible.
See you guys tomorrow
Day 9 of Road to 10k days
Things went better again today. I kept my overthinking in check.
I was able to work well on my tasks.
I started a new ad concept and am already writing another new advertorial with a powerful new angle that I discovered through my research.
I see some people doing in-depth research on their avatar and then just throwing their document in the trash and never working with it again.
But your own research document is a fucking arsenal of insights that you can use to build such strong angles.
Angles that deeply resonate with your target audience.
Which is the goal of your copy: to create copy that resonates so the customer thinks, “This person gets me, this person knows me—he’s one of us.”
Many people just copy others without really understanding why a particular angle works.
What I also learned today is to use the same analogy or metaphor when writing the UMP and UMS, so that it’s as easy as possible to understand them.
Both parts should be so simple that even someone half-asleep scrolling on their phone can understand them.
Also use pictures when explaining them so you make it vivid for them to understand.
Didn’t go to the gym today, but I’ll be back tomorrow.
Monday is my last day at my part-time job.
I can’t wait to grind it out for 10–12 hours a day.
Things will get tougher, but that’s okay. I'm ready, and I need that fire under my ass, so I know that the biz is the only income source.
Day 8 of Road to 10k days
Today wasn't a good day.
My first deep work session went well—I was able to get a few tasks done but the second block was a disaster.
I just overthought everything. I overthought all sorts of things, but I didn't take any action.
I got in my own way, which annoys me.
Earlier, while reviewing my day, I took a step back and jotted down where the problem lay so it doesn’t happen again.
I’ll take a look at it first thing tomorrow morning and actively work on making sure the day goes well.
Things went differently than I expected and planned.
You learn from mistakes. It’s all part of the process.
You keep working on things until they run smoothly.
Tomorrow will be better.
Or
I’ll keep you updated, guys.
Day 7 of Road to 10k days:
I didn't post anything yesterday.
But I'm back with a post today.
There wasn't really anything special yesterday that I could share.
I worked on the tasks I had to do yesterday and today.
I made really good progress on both days.
I’m noticing that certain things are getting easier and easier with each rep.
I'll keep going tomorrow, just the same.
It’s basically the same every day—just working.
Every day in the trenches.
I also went to the gym and had a back workout, it was super hot, but I pushed through and felt great about it.
No gym session tomorrow since I’ll just be working.
I’ve also gotten into listening to piano music while I work.
It calms me down and keeps me really focused. I highly recommend giving it a try, or checking out ADHD Music it fire.
I think I’ll have more to share tomorrow.
I’ll keep you guys updated.
See ya tomorrow folks
Day 3 of Road to 10k days:
It felt good to spend a day with my family to recharge my batteries.
I got home later than expected today, but I still managed to work a little more on the advertorial.
I had to take a break, though, because I’m having some issues with Gempages right now.
I’ve already reached out to support. Hope everything will be fixed by tomorrow.
In the meantime, until it’s fixed, I’ll create image ads so I don’t waste any time.
There’s always something to do.
I can tell I’m getting faster and continuing to build momentum.
But I still need to push harder.
Lock tf in.
Day 5 of Road to 10k days:
Unfortunately, I didn't get much done today.
One task took up a lot of time.
But I did my best to keep up the momentum, even if it wasn't much.
I also went to the gym today and did a chest workout that went really well.
In this hot weather, you really see who has the discipline to stick with it and who doesn't.
Over the last two days, I’ve tried working after my part time until the next morning and then going to sleep, but it turns out that working during the day works better for me in the long run.
Overall, today was a pretty quiet day in terms of progress.
Things will go better again tomorrow. I’m sure of it.
Keep Pushing Guys.
Day 4 of Road to 10k days:
Today was a good day.
I was really focused while working today.
Lately, I’ve started paying attention to listening as little as possible in my daily life besides gym.
I’ve noticed a real difference in my focus because of this.
But there’s still room for improvement.
Yesterday’s problem with Gempages has been fixed, so I was able to get the advertorial ready.
The image ads are also done.
Tomorrow I’ll move on to the next batch, which means finding a new angle to test, developing the ad concept, and getting started.
I also ordered a new book today: *How to Write a Good Advertisement* by Victor Schwab.
I’ve only heard good things about it so far—we’ll see how it goes.
Truly fell in Love with DR Copywriting.
This year, my life is going to take a 180-degree turn…
I can feel it and see it.
No matter, I need to grind harder.
I can hardly wait until I'm completely done with my part-time job, then full-time ecom.
Day 2 of Road to 10k days:
I didn't work today because I spent time with my whole family at a cabin.
Which is good and right.
With all the work, we sometimes forget to spend time with our loved ones.
So make sure to spend some time with your closest ones who are accompanying you on your journey.
I'll head back home tomorrow and then ease back into things.
I'll keep you updated
Day 1 of Road to 10k days:
Today was a successful day.
I sat down and got more work done than I had planned for today.
I didn’t overcomplicate things or overthink them, just got started and worked through the tasks.
Wrote the first draft of my first advertorial today.
Realized that I really enjoy writing long-form copy.
I’ll polish it up tomorrow, and that’s it.
Right now, I’m working on three ad concepts that I’m going to launch.
I’ll let you know the results as soon as the ad sets are up and running.
Lesson I learned today while reading about copywriting:
Vary your sentence length to engage the reader while reading with short, long, middle lenght sentences. So it's not boring to read your copy for your avatar.
I won’t be able to get as much work done tomorrow since I’ll be spending the day with my family, which is also important.
But I’ll try to make the most of it.
See you tomorrow folks!
