@Martock16 @iota Our aim is to keep user fees low: the base fee mostly serves to offset inflation and is burned. Of the gas fees, only tips flow to validators, complementing the subsidy. The economic value from adoption is shared by all token holders, not just validators.

@Martock16 @iota No plans to change. Our philosophy differs from Bitcoin's halving model. Validators should rely on subsidies to run the network reliably, not chase fees. Higher tx volume→more burn→less inflation→indirect validator benefit. Fees complement the subsidy instead of replacing it.

@Martock16 @iota For such a transaction, the (refundable) storage deposit is ~0.004 IOTA. The number of on-chain txs depends on your design, but you'll probably need at least to mint the object, do KYC, record payment or status updates, and redeem the object.
