If this story isn’t true, it will hurt real victims the most. We can support victims and still ask questions. That doesn’t mean we’re dismissing anything.

Justice has to go beyond feelings. I saw a video on tiktok from someone who claims to be her neighbor saying she told them her mom died on Thursday and they even donated money. But when this issue came up, people checked her page and saw a post where she said her mom died last December. These are the kind of inconsistencies that raise questions.
It might be true, but when things don’t add up, they need to be properly addressed.
