@clement_molin I am a map maker and reader my self. I am envious of the tools you are able to use and use so well. In most of my professional maps layers were sticky back plastic sheets that took forever to get lined up and put down on a printed paper background.

How? The less glacier weighted continent rises off the subduction zone, while the now heaver ocean pushes down the sub-ducting continent. This allows faster movement and more heat to feed the volcanic processes.

Stand by for increasing Volcanic eruptions. Smithsonian article "Tracking the 1st Americans" noted research showing as Ice sheets melted, continents rose. As we melt the glaciers the sub-ducting continents can move faster, heating up the process.
