@Austen If there are dropouts that turn out to be successful engineers? Sure.
Simultaneously, I find it understandable that most companies decide to hire engineers that were able to pass a series of evaluations that make them qualified, according to specific standards.

@romeu Acabamos por convencer miúdos desnorteados (e é normal que o estejam) que tirar um curso é a solução para os seus problemas. Muitas vezes acabam por ser no mínimo 3 anos perdidos, uns quantos milhares de euros pouco produtivos e uma “segurança futura” ilusória.

@romeu Acho que o problema tem raiz na nossa mentalidade de ser obrigatório ter uma licenciatura. Do que vivo cá em Portugal, parece-me que os trabalhos técnicos são menosprezados.
