During the first four months of lockdown in 2020, we saw a 179% increase in reports of sexual violence amongst people accessing our services in the North East #ItsNotOK
Whilst national sexual violence figures went down (closure of nightclubs and bars was a major factor in this) @ChangingLives__ saw a massive increase in people disclosing sexual violence. Vulnerability to abuse and exploitation doesn't go away when the country locks down.
