I participated in a peaceful Justice for George Floyd protest tonight in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I want people to know there are peaceful protests happening. Please don't let the news focused on riots and looting, diminish or deflect from the call for justice #blacklivesmatter
@skamille Thanks for sharing! Just added to my O'Reilly account. Been struggling to find good resources around IC career growth, have found most resources are focused towards early career or the management path, so excited to check this out
Less than 3 weeks before midterm elections on Nov 8 and with many policies enacted by the GOP to make it harder for people to vote, just a friendly reminder to verify you're registered and have a plan for getting your vote in on time: https://t.co/OuGrFpEUqY #Election2022
Somehow ended up on the sign-up form for @nytimes while trying to sign into my account and created a new account. Requested to have it deleted and since the US doesn't have data protection laws, it was denied. Guess this is one way to keep your user numbers high... 🤔#america
In keeping with my campaign promise, my Administration is announcing a plan to give working and middle class families breathing room as they prepare to resume federal student loan payments in January 2023.
I'll have more details this afternoon.

For about a year and a half, I worked at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum here in D.C. as a visitor services representative. On my first day, I was walking with my supervisor, who nudged me at one point and said: "See that guy? That's Henry. Make sure you talk to him." (thread)
So whose super pumped to watch a season about Uber & Travis Kalanick and whose treading cautiously because you'll probably get flashbacks to a work experience you've worked hard to move on from? Trigger warning if you haven't watched the trailer yet: https://t.co/BOrXAmOJ6D
@JuanSaaa Not a policy solution, but there's a team working in partnership with @the_ILRC and @npnewamericans on a tool that simplifies the DACA renewal process and they are looking for testers. Compensation for time & application fee provided https://t.co/P9YcIvpSoY

Just remembered the time I interviewed for a software engineering role earlier in my career and was offered a product manager role instead because I wasn't technical enough but seemed to have good management skills... 🤔🙃
@JillWohlner We’re hiring senior full stack engineers but happy to chat if there’s interest. Open to someone who leans more frontend/backend. Shifting to hybrid remote/in-office workflow in Sep, so would need to be near our SF/Palo Alto/NYC office https://t.co/WZ1CSg5EKX
@jmarieray I think this showed a bit more during the pandemic. Being able to work from home, my company covering the cost of a desk & chair. Being able to save roughly what I used to earn earlier in my career… honestly, sometimes I’m scared it’s all going to fall apart
BREAKING: Judge Andrew S. Hanen has ruled new 'Dreamers' can't apply for DACA, stating that the Obama-era program, which gives work permits and protects young people brought to the U.S. from deportation, exceeded the president's authority.

@BreitbartNews A third of DACA recipients (200,000+) worked on the frontline at the height of the pandemic. Do you discount their hard work and how they put their life on the line for us because their DACA recipients? They're as American as those US-born. https://t.co/QAm4Cc4vFc
@TXAG@BarackObama Sure, but to leave 600,000+ current DACA recipients with uncertainty about how long they'll be able to stay in school/employed during a pandemic is heartless. And to prevent 80K first-time applicants from attaining DACA, having already paid their $495 fee, is irresponsible.
@csmikolajuk@dianelyssa The DACA eligible population has grown up in the US and without protection they become easy targets for ICE and deportation to a country they’ve possibly never known or speak the language of. They lose the life they’ve built here, their homes.
